Secure Operations Center (SOC) is looking for a Senior Security Engineer to support a diverse multinational customer base.
The ideal candidate will possess a degree or college diploma in a technical discipline, with five years experience in an information security role.
The candidate should be self-motivated, able to plan effectively and complete his/her own workload but be willing to ask for help if required.
He/she must be detail oriented, able to work independently with excellent inter-personal and customer service skills and with the ability to communicate and present clearly and confidently to colleagues as well as to external customers.
This position is available in Aliso Viejo, CA (Orange County) and relocation assistance will be considered for well qualified candidates.
Required Qualifications:
Juniper Security/Checkpoint Security foundations and SourceFire, ISS Proventia, F5 Big IP, Websense or Bluecoat Proxy.
Logical approach to problem-solving with strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
In-depth knowledge and practical application of General principles and practice of Information Security; IP networks and technologies; Windows and/or UNIX server operating systems
Strong telephone communication skills, with experience in a customer service environment
Able to form good relationships with customers and colleagues, excellent customer handling skills
Strong spoken and written English language skills (German, French, Arabic and Asian languages are a plus)
