Network and Server Administrator

Job Description: The role of the network/server administrator will be one of providing network and desktop administration and support for the company's North America infrastructure.
Required Skills/Knowledge:
· A bachelor’s degree from an accredited school in a related field of study.
· 3+ years of professional experience in a related role.
· Experience providing end user support in a Windows based environment.
· Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2010
· Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP Networking principles
· Experience of Cisco and Juniper hardware.
· Experience of Dell server hardware.
· Licensing compliance using Integralis system toolsets
· Experience configuring and trouble-shooting VPN and end user connectivity issues.
· Excellent customer service and support skills.
Desired Skills/Knowledge:
· 5+ years of professional experience in a related role.
· VMWare certified training
· Linux experience (preferably Red Hat)
· Checkpoint / Juniper firewall experience
· ITIL Experience / Training
The successful candidate will be the main point of contact for a multi user/distributed environment as it relates to all manner network and infrastructure maintenance and support. This person will respond to standard office software questions and trouble-shoot end user problems. This person will work with a support team overseas and will support multiple end users throughout North America. The successful candidate must be comfortable working and prioritizing autonomously. Specific areas of responsibility will include but not be limited to:
· Ensuring all calls, which cannot be assigned or resolved, are escalated correctly to the appropriate Senior Analyst or Technical & Support Services Manager
· Providing telephone support to customers, and deal with support calls when required.
· Responding to customer requests professionally and in a timely manner.
· This person will perform essential maintenance to servers and networking equipment.
