Job Description:
This person will be responsible for working with existing sales staff and engineers to help current customers and prospects to understand current needs are and how the company can support their business objectives trough security solutions.
The successful candidate will have a strong general knowledge of security platforms and technologies as well as having a strong networking background.
This person will be able to work remotely with the understanding that availability through conference calls and travel to potential customer sites on short notice is a requirement. This person will have to be comfortable in front of VP and C level customers and should have professional experience influencing the same.
Required Skills/Knowledge:
Current experience implementing security solutions either internally or internally.
Must have experience influencing VP and C level customers either internal to their own organization or externally.
Must have a knowledge of current firewall and security hardware and software solutions.
A Bachelors degree in a related field of study.
10+ Years of professional experience in a related role.
This candidate should have a current knowledge of networking technology and MUST have experience implementing security solutions into existing networks.
Desired Skills/Knowledge:
- Current experience implementing both Checkpoint and Juniper firewall solutions in a complex environment.
- MSS Experience.
- Experience managing large, complex projects which included personnel management.
- A current understanding of networking and hardware infrastructure.
- An MS degree in a related field of study.
- 15+ years of professional experience in a related role.
